"...on-farm facilities for groups..."
In South Penquite we have the perfect setting for a farm to be used as an educational and training resource for schools and organisations. Our position and environment offer unique opportunities for learning and study in a whole range of countryside and conservation subjects including:
- organic / livestock farming
- habitat management
- wildlife awareness
- Bodmin Moor - working common land
- local history
- prehistoric archaeology
- handling farm animals
- small mammals - tracking & trapping
Use of our facilities - lecture/classroom, guided walks, animal handling facilities, loo's and light refreshments - can be booked by the day. Please ring and we can dicuss your requirements
For schools or groups who might want overnight accommodation we can offer our camping facilities (which include hot showers)
It might also be possible to arrange informed talks on any of the above subjects for a fee - please give us a ring and we will do our best to tailor a package for you
